 Job Description
• Manage and Administer physical and virtual Servers running Windows.
• Setup and manage on-premise infrastructure as well as manage remotely
• Manage and Administer routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, security updates and patches.
• Perform operational tasks such as proactive monitoring, maintenance and problem resolution to provide stable network and systems environment.
• Administer DNS, DHCP, AD, GPOs.
• Administer and monitor VPN connections.
• Administer domain and subdomains.
• Administer Firewall - intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, routing, etc.
• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet systems and cloud-based systems.
• Ability to handle both software and hardware upgrades
• Secure system by establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures, completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
• Respond to after-hour alerts and phone calls, as needed.
• Make recommendations for future upgrades.
• Perform desktop support duties, set up and support computers/laptops running different operating systems and other software.
• Train staff on use of hardware, software, procedures and policies.

Skills and Experience
• 5+ years working experience as a System Administrator
• Experience working online managing infrastructure remotely as well as in-house
• Experience setting up infrastructure from scratch
• Windows Server 2012 - 2016 experience (design, build and escalation support)
• Hyper-V or VMWare Virtual Environments Experience
• IT Security best practices experience
• Troubleshooting network connectivity and network printing issues
• Experience producing formal documentation
• Experience supporting VOIP / PBX Systems
• SQL Server DBA or Oracle DBA experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be adept in working in a fast paced, ever changing
