 Job Description
Middleware Administrator
• Strong Knowledge in IBM WAS & IBM MQ administration processes and concepts.
• Hands-on experience of Installation of different Versions of WebSphere on Linux, Aix & Windows.
• Apache HTTP Server & Apache Tomcat Administration
• Creating Nodes, clusters and cluster members.
• Generating and implementing the SSL certificates in Different environments.
• Configured WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Jboss with Database.
• Configuring of JDBC Providers, Data Source, Virtual Hosting.
• As per the requirements planning and implementation of Fix packs, refresh packs, Migration of version.
• Monitoring Prod, Preprod, Dev environments
• Monitoring application logs of all running applications
• Strong Knowledge on Shell scripting to do automation of daily tasks.
• Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams such as UNIX, Windows,
• Network, Storage, Monitoring etc.
• Document issues and associated resolutions to problems
• Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to higher Management.
• Good analytical, trouble-shooting skills in the area of technical fault isolation and rectification.
• SSL Certificate Generation on Apache HTTP Server & Tomcat
• Harding of Web Application Servers as per OWASP Rules.
• Security patches impact analysis, applying patches and resolve any security issues highlighted by OEM actionable of VAPT Report.
• Incident and Problem management – Resolve reported incidents and provide RCA
