 Job Description
Manager - Financial Reporting :

Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Financial reporting:

?Produce the standalone entity financial statements for the international subsidiaries in accordance with FRS 101, using the OneSource accounts production package, for review by onshore financial reporting team
?Assisting in the Group Financial Accountant in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
?Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, using a reconciliation tool (Blackline), and clearly identifying reconciling items and working with the wider finance function to ensure corrections are posted
?Acting as one of the key points of contact for the external auditors (PwC) and managing their requests within the SSC
?Prepare calculations for the Group’s lease portfolio and reconcile finance lease liabilities in accordance with IFRS 16
?Prepare earnings per share calculations, ensuring compliance with IAS 33
?Providing accounting guidance to the wider shared service centre to ensure that transactions are correctly recognised in accordance with IFRS
?Assisting the Group Head of Tax with ad-hoc international tax and compliance matters
?Assisting the Group Head of Accounting with ad-hoc due diligence matter
?Ensuring documentation and audit trails are maintained to demonstrate compliance with internal control policies.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience skills and behaviours:
?University Qualified and Qualified Accountant (ACA /CMA) /IFRS
?Overall work experience of 10 to 12 years which includes at least 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in a Financial Reporting environment.
?Ability to read accounting standards (IFRS) and apply the guidance to business scenarios.
?A strong Change Manager with a Customer Service orientation with excellent organizational, communication and planning skills.
?Professional, credible individual with an ability to influence peers, superiors and subordinates, adaptable with an ability to change direction and priorities if required.
