Our client is looking for Cloud DB Administrator
Job Description
-- Plan and implement database designs, including the creation and maintenance of cloud databases like SQL MI, SQL VMs, Azure SQL Databases
-- Manage and monitor performance, security, and availability of databases
-- Implement database backup and disaster recovery procedures like Always on etc
-- Work with development teams to optimize database usage and query performance
-- Maintain data integrity, implement security measures, and ensure compliance with data regulations
-- Coordinate and manage migration of databases to Azure platform
-- Provide technical support for database environments, including testing and installation of DBMS upgrades
-- Identify and troubleshoot any database-related issues
-- Document database policies, procedures, and standards, and ensure they are followed
-- Perform capacity planning and demand forecasting for database system
