Roles & Responsibilities:
Designs, installs and maintain the enterprise network to meet the functional objectives of the organization.
Manage and mentor Network team.
Provide network infrastructure engineering support for new projects & deployments within the Enterprise Campus(s). Engagement to support projects, including break-fix, configuration, coordination, planning and implementation within the agreed timelines.
Hands-on experience implementing, administrating and troubleshooting network devices:
Cisco /Juniper Switches and Routers
Cisco /Ruckus Wireless Controller & Access Points
Link Load Balancers & UTM & SSL VPN solutions
CISCO DNA deployment
Enterprise Telephony – Cisco VOIP systems
Ensure proper documentation of new network infrastructure and decommissioning of old devices
Manage, Design and Deploy enterprise WAN links.
Setting up NAT, VLAN’S, BGP with Service Providers, HSRP, Route Maps, Traffic Engineering, WAN optimization and SLA monitoring
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, configuration management oversight and change management guidelines
Support the 24x7 Network operations and Data Centre connectivity within the desired SLA
Resolve Network Incidents and problems, work with managed service NOC, telecommunication providers, internal Field Services and other infrastructure teams on incident resolution. Resolution and handling of network/hardware/software incidents/problem with root cause analysis.
Build/maintain excellent relationships with internal customers, promote and lead change. Provides expertise in cross-functional and intra-departmental effort.
Interfacing with service partners and maintenance sources; quality control for externally provided services. Coordination with vendor technicians.
Key Skills:
Professional certifications like CCNP, JNCIA, CCNA, CCDA, CCDP and CCIE with Switching, Routing, Voice, Security certifications.
Network Administration – Cisco. Candidates with additional skills/experience in Juniper will be desirable.
Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to communicate with peers as well as management, ITIL foundation certification will be preferred
Good problem management/resolution capability with hands on ability and customer facing skills
