Role and Responsibilities:
• 4+ Years’ experience in database administration, operations and production support
• Experience in database and application performance tuning
• Experience in Monitoring, back up/ Recovery Management, DB Provisioning/de-provisioning, DB refresh/restore, HA/DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades
• Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
• Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
• Experience with SQL and PL/SQL
• Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus
• Experience with automation, Ansible, Python is a plus
• Experience in Sybase, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control, SQL Server, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to organize and plan work independently
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Experience in financial domain is a major plus
