Skills and Experience
• Working knowledge of Tag Management Solutions such as Google Tag Manager (GTM) or Adobe Launch
• Experience of Optimization / Testing Tools like Adobe Target.
• Good working knowledge of Web Analytics like Adobe Analytics
• Experience of working with a structured website data layer to ensure accurate data collection.
• JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML experience
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, and network analytics tools.
• Understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
Overall responsibilities
• Implement and maintain the tracking of user behaviour on public-facing website using Adobe Launch tag management system, to provide data for use in Adobe Analytics and other products.
• Support marketing teams in their use of Adobe Target and Analytics by acting as the subject matter expert and internal consultant on marketing capabilities.
• Identify opportunities to improve any existing Marketing Technology configurations and develop those opportunities proactively.
• Develop functionality by following internal development standards. Technical solution to include detailed design documentation, code, configuration, and other supporting technical documents.
• Maintain tracking updates to ensure Adobe Analytics remains up-to-date and accurate.
• Troubleshoot front end performance issues related to tagging and testing using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML
• Investigate and interpret any data issues and collaborate with analysts to support their interpretation of our analytics data.
• Setting up Adobe Target activities including but not limited to Recommendations or ‘always-on’ personalisation activities.
• Presenting the art-of-the possible to marketing teams and owning initiatives to drive product adoption and engagement with local teams
• Report on the return on investment
