Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Assistant with 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to manage invoicing, billing documentation, and coordination with internal departments. The role requires hands-on experience with GST billing, delivery documentation, and reconciliation processes common to manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue sales invoices, tax invoices, and debit/credit notes
• Ensure accuracy of billing details such as item description, HSN codes, quantities, rates, and taxes
• Coordinate with production, stores, logistics, and sales teams for billing and dispatch-related documents
• Handle GST-compliant invoicing, including CGST, SGST, IGST
• Maintain and update billing records, registers, and MIS reports
• Verify delivery challans, purchase orders, and dispatch documents before billing
• Assist in reconciliation of invoices with dispatch and customer records
• Support audits by providing billing and statutory documentation
• Address customer queries related to invoices and billing discrepancies
• Assist the accounts team during month-end and year-end closing activities

Required Skills & Competencies:
• Sound knowledge of billing processes in a manufacturing setup
• Working knowledge of GST, HSN/SAC codes, and statutory billing requirements
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP / Tally / Oracle / any manufacturing ERP
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and inter-department coordination skills
• Ability to handle multiple invoices and tight timelines

Preferred Candidate Profile:
• 2–3 years of billing experience in a manufacturing company
• Any graduate (B.Com preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience handling high-volume invoicing and dispatch coordination
• Knowledge of e-way bills is an added advantage
